Terms of Service
By creating an account or using pawtrck, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before using the pawtrck mobile application, website, or related services (collectively, the "Services").
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use pawtrck. By using the Services, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal ability to agree to these Terms.
2. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account information up to date. You must promptly notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe an account violates these Terms, creates risk, misuses the Services, or is used unlawfully.
3. Pet Care and Veterinary Disclaimer
pawtrck is a tracking, organization, and pet care management tool only.
pawtrck does not provide veterinary advice, medical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, or emergency services. Information, summaries, charts, reminders, reports, weather information, and vet-ready exports are provided for organization and reference.
Always consult a qualified veterinarian for medical decisions, emergencies, diagnoses, treatment, medication changes, significant diet changes, or health concerns regarding your pet. You are responsible for decisions made based on information you enter into or view through the Services.
4. Accuracy and Availability
pawtrck may display activity, distance, pawsteps, calories, weight trends, reminders, maps, weather conditions, and other calculations or estimates. Results may be affected by device sensors, GPS accuracy, user input, connectivity, third-party data, and other factors.
We do not guarantee that tracked data, reminders, reports, maps, weather information, calculations, or any feature will always be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, or available. Do not rely on pawtrck for emergencies or time-critical veterinary care.
5. pawtrck Plus and Store Purchases
pawtrck may offer premium features through pawtrck Plus. The features included in each plan, current prices, billing periods, and any introductory or trial terms are displayed in the app and confirmed by the applicable store before purchase.
On Apple devices, purchases are processed through the Apple App Store. On Android devices, purchases are processed through Google Play. RevenueCat helps pawtrck manage subscription status and entitlements but does not replace the applicable store as the payment processor.
Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled through the store where they were purchased. Billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund eligibility are governed by the applicable App Store or Google Play terms and policies. pawtrck cannot directly modify the store account through which you purchased a subscription.
You may restore eligible purchases in the app where supported. Deleting your pawtrck account or uninstalling the app does not automatically cancel an active subscription. Cancel the subscription through the applicable store before deleting your account if you do not want it to renew.
6. Free Version and Promotions
pawtrck may offer free and paid experiences. The current app may display first-party messages about pawtrck features or pawtrck Plus. The current version does not integrate a third-party advertising SDK. We may change available features or introduce policy-compliant advertising in the future, but we will update applicable disclosures before doing so.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- misuse pawtrck or interfere with its normal operation;
- attempt to access another user's account or data;
- reverse engineer, scrape, attack, overload, or disrupt the Services, except where applicable law expressly permits otherwise;
- upload or submit unlawful, harmful, infringing, or misleading content;
- use the Services to violate applicable laws or third-party rights; or
- attempt to bypass subscription, access-control, security, or usage restrictions.
8. User Content and Pet Data
You retain ownership of the pet information, photos, records, and other content you submit. You grant pawtrck the limited rights necessary to host, process, store, display, synchronize, and transmit that content solely to operate and improve the Services and complete actions you request.
You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of information and content you add to pawtrck.
9. Privacy
Our collection and use of information are described in the pawtrck Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
10. Intellectual Property
The pawtrck name, logo, software, interface, design, illustrations, and related materials are owned by pawtrck or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Services for their intended purpose. They do not transfer ownership of pawtrck intellectual property to you.
11. Third-Party Services
pawtrck relies on third-party services, including Supabase, Railway, Cloudflare, RevenueCat, Apple, Google, Expo, Apple Weather, and platform mapping and notification services. Your use of some features may also be subject to third-party terms. We are not responsible for interruptions, errors, policy changes, or limitations caused by third-party services outside our reasonable control.
12. Account Deletion and Termination
You may permanently delete your pawtrck account by opening Settings and selecting Delete Account in the app. If you cannot access the app, follow the instructions at https://www.pawtrck.com/account-deletion/.
Account deletion removes your pawtrck account and associated active-service data as described in the Privacy Policy. It does not cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription.
We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the Services or users, comply with law, or address a material violation of these Terms. Where appropriate and legally required, we will provide notice or an opportunity to appeal.
13. Changes to the Services
We may update, modify, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features. Some features may require an active subscription, compatible device, internet access, device permission, or third-party service availability.
14. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, pawtrck and its creators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, loss of use, pet health outcomes, or decisions made based on information tracked or displayed in the Services.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions or limitations of liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the Services or legal requirements change. We will update the "Last updated" date and provide additional notice when required. Continued use of the Services after updated Terms take effect means you accept them, except where applicable law requires additional consent.
