Welcome to pawtrck. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the data you share with us regarding yourself and your pets. This policy outlines how we handle information in the pawtrck mobile application and associated services.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Personal Data (Human): We collect your email address and authentication tokens via Supabase Auth. We do not store your plain-text passwords.
1.2 Pet Data: To provide our tracking services, we store the following information about your pets:
- Profile details: Name, breed, birth date, weight, sex, size, and activity level.
- Health & Care: Meal logs, calorie intake, medication schedules, vaccination records, and symptom history.
- Activity: Exercise data, including walk duration, distance, and activity type.
1.3 Device Permissions: Depending on usage, we may request access to your Camera/Photos (for pet profiles), Location (for exercise routes), and Notifications (for reminders).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected data to maintain your secure account, generate health reports, deliver reminders for pet care, and provide weather-related insights via WeatherAPI.
3. Third-Party Service Providers
We rely on trusted partners to keep pawtrck running:
- Supabase: Backend database and secure authentication.
- Cloudflare: Hosting and infrastructure.
- WeatherAPI: Environmental data for exercise tracking.
- Expo: Push notification delivery infrastructure.
We do not sell your personal or pet data to third-party advertisers or data brokers.
4. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your data as long as your account is active. If you choose to delete your account via the app settings, all associated personal and pet data will be removed from our active databases in accordance with our system design.
